Eragon is a 2006 action-adventure video game based on the book of the same name by Christopher Paolini. The game was developed by Stormfront Studios and published by Vivendi Universal Games for the PlayStation Portable (PSP) handheld console. It follows the story of Eragon, a young farm boy who discovers a mysterious stone that leads him on a journey to become a Dragon Rider.
Along the way, he meets a variety of characters and faces off against enemies as he tries to fulfill his destiny and save the kingdom of Alagaësia. The game features action-packed combat, puzzle-solving, and exploration, and allows players to control Eragon and his dragon, Saphira, as they travel through a vast fantasy world.
