Assassin's Creed III for the Sony PlayStation 3 is the fifth installment in the video game series from game developer and publisher Ubisoft. Following the general plot of the series about the centuries long war between Assassins and Templars, Assassin's Creed III is set in this time around in 18th century Boston, New York City, and the American frontier. Playable in single and multi-player modes, this action-adventure type video game is laid out as a sandbox type game where the players have the option of following the storyline of the major characters or explore the expansive Assassin's Creed III universe and complete side quests.
Among the improvements of this installment from the previous versions include a more simplified free running style, the ability of the characters to wield dual weapons, new weapons, and automatic health recovery.
